General rules for Facebook and Instagram competitions
- General Provisions
1.1 The organiser of the competitions is: KASKO spol. s r.o.

1.2 The Contests are in no way operated, sponsored by or associated with Meta (Facebook) and Meta is not responsible for the operation of the Contests. The information provided in the Contests will not be disclosed to Meta in any way. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the contests must be directed to the organizer and not to Meta.

- Terms and conditions of participation in the competition
2.1 The Competition is open to Facebook or Instagram users who are 18 years of age or older at the time of the Competition.
2.2 Only participants with a delivery address in the Czech Republic and Slovakia can become a winner.
2.3 The user usually enters the competition by adding a comment under the specified post, marking the post with the "Like" button or uploading a photo. The exact rules are set out in the Competition Post.
2.4 The date of the contest is announced in the Contest Post.
- Winning and contacting winners
3.1 Winners will be selected from the entrants in the manner set out in the Competition Entry.
3.2 Winners will be announced within 5 days of the stated end date of the Competition and invited to contact the Site via private message on Facebook.
3.3 If a Contestant fails to claim their prize within 7 calendar days, the prize will be forfeited to the Promoter.
4.1 The prizes in the Competition and the number of prizes will always be specified in the announcement of the relevant Competition.
4.2 A prize cannot be exchanged for cash or claimed for any prize other than that specified by the competition organiser.
4.3 The prize is not legally enforceable by the winner and cannot be claimed in court.
4.4 The prizes will be handed over to the winners either at the organiser's headquarters or sent by post to the winner's address in the Czech or Slovak Republic. If the parcel is returned, no further attempt at delivery will be made and the winner will have the option to collect the prize from the organiser's premises within 7 days of the return or the prize will be forfeited.
- Rights and obligations of the Promoter
5.1 The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Competition at any time, amend the terms and conditions, declare notifications sent to winners invalid or, without notice or any compensation, block the participation of entrants who enter the Competition in breach of good morals.
5.2 The Promoter shall not be liable if a winner has provided an incorrect address. The Promoter shall not be liable for any other reasons for the winner not receiving the prize, unless such reasons are attributable to the Promoter.
5.3 If the Promoter reasonably suspects or believes that a competitor or any other person who has or may have assisted the competitor to win the prize has acted fraudulently, dishonestly or unfairly, the competitor will be excluded or blocked from the competition; the same applies in the case of any other conduct by the competitor or any other person who has or may have assisted the competitor to win the prize which is otherwise contrary to the competition rules or good morals.
5.4 Participation in the Competition may not be enforced by legal action.
5.5 The Promoter reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Competition during the Competition without prior notice.
- Consent to the processing of personal data,
Approval of the rules
6.1 The organiser is the controller of personal data.
6.3 The purpose of the processing is the implementation of the competition, organisation, administration, evaluation, control and delivery of prizes.
6.4 The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the contestant, which the contestant voluntarily gives by entering the contest as a marketing event. The contestant may withdraw his/her consent at any time. The processing of the contestant's personal data is necessary for the purpose of the competition and the withdrawal of consent will end the participation in the competition.
6.5 The period of processing of personal data is the period of the competition date until the prizes are handed over and 6 months thereafter for control purposes. After this period, only a limited amount of data is retained for the fulfilment of the legal obligations of the organiser and in the event of an inspection by a supervisory authority. 6.6 Scope of data: data from the competitor's profile on the social network in question (name and surname, if applicable). The data provided as part of the registration for the competition, the data provided in the reply to the winning message (name, surname, email, delivery address) in accordance with this Policy, as well as the data on participation in the competition, the date and time of registration, the IP address of the device from which the registration was made, the data on the prize, the delivery of the prize and related communications, the data on the age over 18 years.
6.7 Recipients of the data: processors in the form of persons providing the competition and other processors and recipients listed in the Policy.
6.8, Civil Code, as amended, free of charge, the first name and city of the contestants in the media (including the Internet), promotional and advertising materials of the organizer in connection with this competition and its products or services, with the proviso that audio and visual recordings of the contestants (especially of the winner in connection with the drawing of the prize) may be made and published in the above-mentioned manner for a period expiring 5 years from the end of the competition.
- Final provisions
7.1 Contest entries must not contain pornographic, erotic or otherwise vulgar language and must not contain racist or offensive language.
7.2 The Promoter shall not be liable for the inclusion of incorrect or inaccurate information in connection with the Competition (whether caused by human error or technical fault), nor for the completeness of extracts from these Rules which may be published in abridged versions in promotional material, nor for typographical errors
7.3 The Promoter shall not be liable for any technical or telecommunications difficulties or faults arising during the Competition, the speed of any technical connection or other defects, including any failure to deliver electronic mail and any damage that may occur to the computer or other equipment of the Competitor or any other person in connection with participation in the Competition. The Promoter is also not responsible for any person being unable to enter or complete the Competition due to any technical failure or network congestion.
7.4 The Promoter advises that any intent to damage any website or to interfere with the legitimate operation of the Competition, even if attempted, may qualify as a breach of applicable law, may lead to the Competition Entrant being excluded from the Competition and may also give rise to the Promoter's right to claim damages.
These rules will take effect on 3.4.2023
